Fans of a boundary walk will have noticed the addition this season of a beautiful willow tree and bench in the eastern corner of the meadow. Both have been installed in memory of AJ Fantham and Tom Thompson, two men who made an enormous contribution to the club and who have left a lasting legacy at NCC.

Tom was a huge supporter of the club and served as President for 20 years. His contribution is only surpassed by AJ's, who besides giving decades of service off the field (37 years as sec amongst other roles), also took 3,500 wickets, several hundred catches and scored 27,000 runs for the club.
