In what can only be described as a landmark performance in the storied history of Northchurch Cricket Club, Tom Garraway has officially broken the club’s long-standing 1st XI League & Cup Hundreds record!
Facing Abbots Langley 1st XI in a crucial Heath Cup clash on 30th July 2026, Tom produced an absolute masterclass with the bat, smashing 128 off just 67 balls. Together with opening partner George Liveing (69* off 56 balls), the pair posted a staggering, unbroken opening stand of 215-0 to power Northchurch to a comprehensive victory.

Prior to this match, the club’s 1st XI hundreds record stood at 17 centuries, held for approximately 45 years by the great AJ Fantham. Remarkably, while Fantham accumulated his tally over 1,432 innings, Gaz achieved his record-breaking 18th century in a mere 283 innings!
