The juniors were in action over the weekend in the first of our pre-season workshops. We began with a round robin of drills to refresh the basics before heading into the nets.

The U9s and U10s brought their usual enthusiasm to our soft ball section, while the U11s got their heads round putting on and moving in pads, helmets and gloves and boxes! The four U13s were a bit lonely but we think there was a clash with football.

Like most years, the U14s have returned from hibernation having grown taller than most of our coaches, and that brings with it some exciting new pace from the bowlers and power from the batters.

Our next workshop is on 27th March, 1230-1430 at Knox Johnson. It's free to attend for club members and prospective club members. In the meantime, the nets at the club are open for use so please feel free to work on the skills in your own time.
