Clifford takes 3 but the bat dominates as Church win four in four for the weekend.

The Senior XIs are painting targets on their backs with a series of strong early season performances.

Sunday XI overcome Chesham Bois

Mark Hobley scored his second hundred of the year on his own lovingly prepared pitch to help the Sunday XI post a big score. Noah ensured the visitors were never in the game by taking 3 for 19.

Twos Stay on top

The 2nd XI completed an amazing run chase at home. Finding themselves in trouble at 125 for six chasing Wheathampstead’s 222, Joel (55*) and Harry Chapman (47) played superbly to put on 90 for the seventh wicket and wrap up victory. The win keeps them top of the league along with Harpenden Dolphins, who are also four in four.

Garraway and Bexon shine in Luton

The first XI remained composed and patient throughout their league match against Luton Town and Indians. After a LTICC 130 run partnership for the third wicket, Northchurch made the most of an opening to take the last 7 wickets for 40 runs. The chase never looked in doubt after Garraway and Bexon got in. Read about Garraway’s hundred and Khan’s five-fer below. Match report

T20 XI Sees off Berko

Rather confusingly, the Sunday T20 match was played on Friday night at Berkhamsted. A large crowd on the deck was treated to a dominant Northchurch performance in which Romit (3 for 10) and Darren (50*) starred.

Friday Night BBQ

Starting at 6.30pm. RSVP to juniors@northchurchcc.org to book a burger, which will be cooked fresh by a professional chef.

Junior matches

After a break for half term, junior cricket returns to the Meadow with a bang, with six games this week. See below or the calendar on the website for the schedule.
