A game that could not be split as both teams finish level on 127 in a summer sizzler.
On a warm summer evening on 07 July 2026, Northchurch CC and Tring Park CC played out an incredibly tense local derby. Following a professional review of the final tallies, it has been confirmed that the match ended in a dramatic tie, with both sides finishing their respective innings on exactly 127 runs. This was a fantastic display of junior cricket where neither side deserved to lose, showcasing the very best of our local talent.
Northchurch produced a highly disciplined display in the field to restrict the opposition. Ben set the tone early with what was described as an "unplayable" delivery to claim a wicket, finishing with exceptional figures of 1-6. Daniel was equally restrictive, delivering an impressive maiden over to finish his spell with only 0-4 conceded. Further pressure was applied by Jaggar (2-13) and Tommy (1-16), both of whom took crucial wickets to stem the Tring Park scoring rate.
