Defensive Excellence
The bowling attack set a high standard from the outset. Daniel was the architect of our defensive pressure, delivering a masterclass in tight bowling. His exceptional economy choked the scoring rate and forced the Boxmoor batters into difficult positions, creating the perfect platform for both Daniel and Jack H to contribute to the wicket tally with accurate and clinical spells.
The defensive effort was supported by an elite fielding performance. The team remained sharp throughout the innings, highlighted by three clinical catches:

• A sharp catch by Harry
• An excellent take by Ben
• A well-judged catch from Benji

Runs and Resilience
The Northchurch batting innings was a blend of technical skill and mental toughness. Both Ben and Jaggar were in exceptional form, playing with immense confidence to reach the retirement mark and finishing their respective stints retired undefeated to set a commanding pace for the team.
Equally impressive was the resilient fight shown by Sammy B and Jack H. Both players dug in during challenging periods of the match, showing great character to protect their wickets and keep the scoreboard moving when it mattered most.
