Match Overview
An enthusiastic NCC squad arrived early at The Common for the first game of the season, putting in some excellent fielding practice. Chorleywood won the toss and elected to bowl first on a wicket that proved difficult for both sides due to unpredictable bounces.

Batting Against a Strong Attack
Facing what may be the most accomplished bowling attack of the season, the batters had to work hard on a tricky surface.

Callum: Anchored the early stages with a respectable strike rate in the mid-60s.
Team Effort: While wickets were costly at -5 runs each, the boys deserve full credit for their ambition to chase extra runs under pressure.

NCC finished their 20 overs with a net score of 208.

Player of the Match: Jack for his double-wicket performance, nearly taking a hat-trick of clean bowls.

First Caps: A warm welcome to Oscar and Jack, who both had brilliant debuts for the club.
