On 10 May 2026, Northchurch CC Under 12 B hosted Tring Park CC in a closely contested fixture. After winning the toss, Northchurch elected to field first. While the team showed incredible spirit and individual brilliance throughout the afternoon, Tring Park CC ultimately secured the win by 34 runs.
The Northchurch bowling and fielding unit performed admirably to restrict the opposition to 68 runs (a final net score of 268). Connor provided a masterclass in pressure bowling, delivering a near hat-trick that significantly tested the Tring Park batters. In the field, Leo produced the highlight of the day with an exceptional catch that boosted the team’s energy during a crucial phase of the match.

During the second innings, Northchurch chased the target with determination, finishing on a net score of 234. A major highlight of the chase was the standout performance of Meade, who delivered an excellent display in his first game for the club. The resilient partnership between Leo and Meade was the cornerstone of the Northchurch batting performance. While the team fell just short of the target, the technical skill and resilience shown by this pair provided a solid foundation for the innings.
