The team put in a great effort last night against a strong Chipperfield side, producing an excellent display of determination and teamwork from start to finish.

There were plenty of highlights throughout the match, with wickets from Adam, Leo and Daisy, while Leo and Zac both found the boundary with some impressive fours. The fielding was particularly strong, with several outstanding boundary saves helping to keep the pressure on Chipperfield throughout the innings.

A special welcome to Max, who made his first appearance of the season, and it was fantastic to have Will back in the team after his injury layoff. Thanks also to Lola for taking on the captaincy duties and leading the team so well.

Chipperfield finished on 319, with Northchurch closing on 228. While the temperature certainly dropped towards the end of the evening, the team never let the cold affect their effort and attitude.
