The fabulous new practice facility was officially opened last night by club President Clifford Geary. Admiring the new nets and fabulous condition of the ground, Cliff commented that the facilities had been somewhat improved during his 76-years-long membership of the club.

Chairman Ian Fantham made several thank yous to those who had worked on the project or secured grant funding from several institutional donors, including: The Bernard Sunley Foundation, The Robert Clutterbuck Trust, Dacorum Borough Council, Northchurch Parish Council, Tesco Plc, and Northchurch Sports Association.

Special thanks were reserved for Tim Wheeler and Ali Fantham; two members who made extremely generous donations which were the difference between nets and no nets.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Ian for his energy and drive over two plus years of planning and fundraising to get the project completed.

We wish all members and friends many happy hours of cricket training in the nets. Please look after them!
