Senior Cricket

  • The 1st XI and 2nd XI sit top of their leagues with a maximum 90 points each with 3 wins from 3 in their respective matches.
  • 1st XI vs Chorleywood CC (League): A historic day for the club! Tom Garraway anchored a hard-fought away win by scoring his record-equalling 17th hundred. Supported by clinical bowling from Harry Chapman and Charles Fidler, the 1st XI showed great maturity to secure maximum points on the road.
  • 1st XI vs Kings Langley CC (Heath Cup T20): A dominant seven-wicket win at The Meadow saw us cruise into the next round. Charles Fidler (3 wkts) and Tom Garraway (2 wkts) dismantled the visitors for 108, before Jordan Butcher (42 off 28) and George Liveing (28) chased it down in just 13.4 overs.
  • 2nd XI vs Great Gaddesden CC (League): The 2nd XI powered to a 71-run victory at The Meadow. Michael Buttleman (76), Joel James (71), and Richard Reid (41) set a formidable total of 254/3. Sunni Durrani then sparked a dramatic collapse with an inspired spell of 3/21 to secure the win.

Junior Cricket Highlights

  • Under 9 Girls vs Rickmansworth CC: In incredibly hot conditions, the girls fell just 5 runs short in a thriller. Daisy was named Player of the Match for her captaincy and batting, while Ivy took Players' Player. Emily starred with the ball, taking 3 wickets, and a special welcome to Lorna and Alexandra who completed their first-ever matches.

Fundraising Spotlight: Dave Elliott's Masterclass

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the club has successfully raised a total of £1,300 through the Last Man Standing competition and the Grand National sweepstake. This impressive sum will go directly towards the purchase of a new mobile net for the ground.

A huge club thank you goes to 1st teamer Dave Elliott, who is solely responsible for the organisation and incredible fundraising effort. Dave’s dedication as our "organiser supreme" has been the driving force behind this success!
